Jess (she/her/hers) is a New York based actor and singer who grew up juuust north of Bahston (Boston), Massachusetts. She is a soon-to-be graduate from Long Island University-Post with a BFA in musical theatre, and has spent the past four years absorbing all the information she possibly can to make it in this crazy world we live in.
Growing up a quadruplet, Jess struggled with finding herself in a small town that clumped her and her siblings together from birth to their high school graduation. She found an outlet through theatre, and didn’t look back. Taking every performance opportunity she could in high school, she found a community she had never felt before and knew she had found her calling. Often cast as the “good girl gone bad girl” she found a new side of her that her parents were glad she left on the stage. She will always and forever be grateful to her parents for letting her express herself in every way possible, and grateful to her siblings for always supporting her (even when they were forced to).
Being fueled by absolute passion and power, Jess takes the world by storm in everything that she does; on or off the stage. She found a new love for the “backstage” works of the theatre throughout her years at LIU. She found new ways to express herself through her art: playwriting, journaling, crocheting, designing, and even fell in love with painting again; a silly passion of hers she found again during quarantine.
Her time at LIU taught her so much and has given her such a wide array of skills she will now use in the real world. The Suzuki training that she has received from Maria Porter and Matthew Mastromatteo has given her a whole new toolbox of skills to use when approaching a character. Through this training, Jess found a strong, alpha-bitch, powerful side of her that she is endlessly grateful to have found. This new level of confidence led her down a new pathway where she has been able to grow continuously. She wants to change the world and inspire others through her passion and her art. She is looking forward to putting herself out there and creating new art in the big scary real world.
